YESTERDAY'S SOFTBALL RESULTS AT A GLANÇE
Maturity surged over youth when; um 1803 03:013 CARTE Hong Kong Baseballers, grand- dads of the League, swamped strong contingent from C.B.A., 19 to 9. This was the first upset of the day as the dopesters, including re-myself, favoured the British lads
to win.
As I said last week, the C.B.A. squad 1 have made a vast improvement since 2 taking up the game and I am sticking 3 to my story; but boy, oh boy, did they let us down yesterday or did they? They played like schoolgirls, making errors galore and only registered five 0 measly hits against the Baseballer's. 1 14...

REALLY FRIENDLY!
The friendly game between Empress of Japan and the C.B.A. and Rest turn- ed out to be a real friendly game. No one was, around to keep proper scores so it was decided to mark the tallies on the board after each inning. Through the excitement of a close game, the female marker could not remember how many runs were scored in the last inning, so after a short confer- ence, it was decided, in a friendly way of course, that the score was 10 to 9 in favour of C.B.A. and Rest. Jack Black led his squad and all played a wonderful hard fought game.
Jerry Penny played an excellent game for Empress Lads and his long drive third base-line showed that age is no criteria to a good ball player.
