Italians Concentrate Large Forces On British And French Frontiers

ABYSSINIANS

BEING ENROLLED

Djibouti, To-day.

According to reports received here there have been large concentrations of Italian troops at places close to the frontiers of French and British Somaliland.

The places mentioned are Mordale, Jalelo and Sar-

do, near Hadele and Gube.

Many natives of the province of Harar are report- ed to have been called up and enrolled in the native corps.

It is understood that steps have been taken in Dji-

bouti in consequence of these reports.--Reuter.

NAZI CAMPAIGN AGAINST HOLLAND

London, To-day.

The German anti-Netherlands campaign "is not disturbing" official circles in London, says Reu- ter's diplomatic correspondent. Rumours of Hitler's "next attack" are widely spread, and Rumania, the Ukraine, Poland, Memel, Danzig, the Netherlands and Belgium are alternately mentioned as the next "victim." The British view, according to well-informed opin- ion, is to avoid increasing the nervous tension by according official cognisance to each and

every scare.
