FASCISM PRINCE
DEFEATS KONOYE
New Prime Minister An Ultra-Nationalist
FIGHT AGAINST ARMY BY DIET PREDICTED
London, To-day.
The London evening newspapers make a feature of the resignation of the Japanese Cabinet such headings as "Fascism Defeats Japanese Pre- mier," but as yet there has been no editorial comment. Japanese circles in London much regret Prince Konoye's resignation, saying that on the whole he held the balance fairly and resisted the worst demands of the extreme militarists, especially after the fall of Hankow and Canton. Disappointment at the complete failure of his peace offer to China, to which he is believed to have pinned great hopes, was probably the last straw inducing Prince Konoye to resign.

It is thought that the political parties will have the support of the Japanese people in this fight, and close observers do not expect the Ministry to last long.

Look Deformed
Excess fat is unhealthy and unplea- sant-for both men and women. It ahould be got rid of whenever it ap- pears, whether early in life or late. This man, for all his three score years and ten, determined to reduce his weight. Read how he succeeded:-
"A few years ago I felt I was almost finished. I was as round as a barrel, for I am not very tall, and with my protruding stomach I looked deformed. My weight was 15 stone 10 lbs., and on top of it all, I suffered so badly with rheumatism that I was no longer able to work. I started taking Kruschen Salts, and now both rheumatism and fat have disappeared. My weight Is now 12 stone 8 lbs. I can dig my gar- den, and do my own work, in spite of my 70 years."-V.R.
