Asking for time to consider the forming of his Cabinet, Baron Hiranuma, the newly appoint- ed Japanese Premier, left the Palace and start- ed the work of organising the Cabinet.
He has appointed Mr. Harumichi Tanabe as the Cabinet's chief secretary designate, and has also offered Mr. Sotaro Ishiwatari, Vice- Minister of Finance, the post of Finance Minister.
