STATEMENT OF CAPITAL WORKS EXPENDITURE INCURRED UNDER THE 1976-83 DEFENCE COSTS (WORKS) AGREEMENT FOR THE FINANCIAL YEAR 1976-77
(i) Amount paid to H.B.M. Department of the Environment for expenditure incurred by them but chargeable to the Hong Kong Government funds in the first instance according to the Agreement (including 16% D.E. for Works)

Note: (A) The amount of $8,154,951.61 includes a refund of overpayment from H.B.M. D.O.E. for $206,173.15, relating to the expired Agreement.
(B) The amount of $13,846,472.68 includes a sum of $36,547.62 refunded from H.B.M. D.O.E. for D.O.E.'s share of actual expenditure for 1975-76 for project no. 91/02/05/124 Stanley Fort, improvements to water supplies and a sum of $1,919.37 for project no. 91/11/02/129 Lyemun Barracks, adjustment of boundaries, both of which are chargeable to the expired Agreement.
