MISS PENELOPE DODWELL CHRISTENS NEW VESSEL
The launching of the motor wa- terboat, "Tai Sze Ho", built for the union Waterboat Co., took place at Kowloon Docks this morning. -
The vessel was christened by Miss Penelope Jane Dodwell, ten- year-old daughter of Hon. Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Dodwell, chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hong Kong and Whampoa Dock Co., Ltd.
Those present included Hon. Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Dodwell, Mr. A. C. 1. Bowker, Mr. F. Edwards, Mr. Y. Yvarovich, Mrs. G. D. R. Black, Mrs. A. H. Penn, Mr. H. H. Scott, (Acting Manager, H. K. and W. Dock Co., Ltd.), Mr. R. G. Craig (Yard Manager) and others. MOTOR VESSEL “TAI SZE HO”
The latest addition to the fleet of the Union Waterboat Co., is the thirteenth waterboat built by the Dock Co., for the same Owners over a period of twenty five years.
