What Next For French Premier

Paris, Yesterday.

The question concerning all parties in France at the present moment is what course the vot- ing in the Chamber will take when the new finance laws come before the Chamber at the end of next week, Paris political cir- cles taking a somewhat sceptical view.

It is declared that in view of the close margin in the vote of confidence.in M, Daladier it is not at all unlikely that the balance may

Premier turn against the when this most important issue comes up for decision.

This will depend to a great ex- tent on the position taken by in- dividual Right Wing. groups.

In addition to M. Daladier, one of the main speakers at last night's session was M. Leon Blum, who tumult stirred the Chamber to when he charged the Government with destruction of the Popular Front, and attacked M. Daladier's financial policy.

In answer to his' question "Who was responsible for the collapse of the Popular Front?" the Right Wing deputies rose in a body and shouted "You," following which deputies on both sides demonstrat- ed loudly for several minutes.

A more serious break came when M. Blum began to analyse the financial measures planned by the Government, the climax being Deputies stormed reached when

the benches of the Right. For a moment it looked as though a riot would ensue.

The President of the Chamber, M. Herriot, left the Chamber, and M. Blum stepped down from the speaker's stand.

It was not for several minutes that the session could be resumed. -Trans-Ocean.
