Dramatic Story Of

In Mme. Skobline Trial
Paris, To-day. The allegation that the Ogpu, the dreaded Soviet secret police, had a political commissar work- ing for them in Paris before 1936 as a taxi- driver, was read at the resumed hearing yester- day of the case against Madame Skobline. Madame Skobline, wife of a White Russian emigre general in Paris, is the centre figure in the case relating to disappearance of General Miller, a brother-officer, last year.

The belief that Germany is supporting Japan in her present China campaign, was openly voiced here to-day by Sir Ar thur Willert, former chief of the foreign Office Prèss Bureau.

TENSION IN TUNIS

The statement read yesterday was contained in translations from Russian documents found in Mme. Skobline's possession.
They also referred to an alleged pacifist organisation dependent-on- the Comintern, which is stated had cells in the Renault and Cil- troen factories.
The translations were read by Maitre Ribet, who is appearing. for Mme. Miller and General Miller's brothers.
