AGAINST FENCIK

Prague, To-day.

The Carpatho-Ruthenian Minister, Dr. Fençik, who had plenipotentiary powers to deal with the new fron- tier between Czechoslovakia and Carpatho-Ruthenia, is expected to share the same fate as the first Carpatho-Ruthenian Prime Minis- ter, Brody, recently arrested.

In Prague political circles, it is assumed that as in the case of Brody the Government will demand that Corporative Committee of the National Assembly surrender Fencik. When this demand is com- plied with, Fencik will be arrested.

The motives that induced the Government to take this step are, it is declared, the same as in the Brody case. Frencik is reproached with having worked for cession of Carpatho-Ruthenia. Details of the accusations made are not yet known. Frencik belongs to the Russian Na- tional Party in Carpatho-Ruthenia.
