A widow, Ng Lin-ho, 34, of No. 365, Shanghai Street, was charged before Mr. Q. A. A. Macfadyan this morning at Kowloon with the theft of a suitcase, containing money and jewellery to a total value of $1,264, from a fellow tenant.
Another woman, Chan Luk, 44, amah, was charged with receiving the stolen property.
First defendant pleaded guilty, while the second pleaded not guilty, Both were remanded for 48 hours at the request of Det.-Sgt. C. Pope.
EGYPT TO BUILD NAVAL FLEET
