POST OFFICE
GENERAL HOLIDAY
On Monday, 10th October, the General Post Office and Kowloon Central Post Office will be open from 8.00 a.m. to Noon; Sheungwan Branch Post Office will be open from 8.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m., and the other Branch Post Offices will be entirely closed.
There will be, one collection from the pillar-boxes- as on Sundays; one delivery of ordinary correspondence at 11.80 a.m., and one delivery of regis- tored correspondence at 11.00 a.m.
The Branch Post Offices at Stanley, Tai Po and Un Long will also hava one delivery of ordinary correspondence: at 11:00a.m.
The Money Order Office will be entirely closed.
IMPERIAL AIRWAYS:
Surcharged air mail letters may be posted in the ordinary posting boxes. They should be clearly marked “By Air Mail" and " bear sufficient postage. Insufficiently prepaid letters may be taxed with double the deficiency forwarded-by Steamer Service, at the discretion of the Post Office.
