Captures 15 Gloucester Wickets, Scores 159 YORKSHIRE AND LANCASHIRE WIN

Taking 9 for 37 and 6 for 128 and scoring 159, Nichols the Essex all-rounder yesterday paved the way for victory for Essex in their County over Gloucestershire by an innings and 65 runs match at the Wagon Works Ground, Gloucester.
Avery, the Islington Corinthian footballer, was also very much in the limelight for Essex and scored a fine century.
