Sir,The Christ Church Group of the Victoria Diocesan & Mis- sionary Association are under- taking to make ‘arrangements for the annual outing for the inmates of the Industrial Home for Blind Girls at Pokfulam. This year the outing will take place on Saturday, 1st October, and will be twelfth occasion.

The monthly meeting of the Gen- eral Committee of the Kowloon Re- sidents' Association was held this week in St. Andrew's Church Hall.

A letter from a member referring to the poor street lighting in Shan Tung Street and the need for re- moving the sectional bus stop from Argyle Street to Shan Tung Street (in Nathan Road) was read. It was agreed to refer the former matter to the Street Lighting and Traffic Sub-Committee, and to write to the Kowloon Motor Bus Co., on the lat- ter point.
