LORD RUNCIMAN INTERVIEWS CZECH PREMIER

Prague, To-day.

A communique was issued by the Bureau of Lord Runciman yester- day evening stating that Lord Runciman had already had an in- terview with Dr. Hodza, the Czech Premier. This interview was ori- ginally fixed for to-day. It is also stated that Lord Runciman had established his first personal con- tact with members of the Sudeten German Party. receiving a delega- tion at five o'clock yesterday after-

noon.

Political quarters are of opinion that Lord Runciman was induced to request an earlier interview with Dr. Hodza in consequence of reports communicated to his staff by Sudeten German circles on new outrages.

The communique says that Lord Runciman's mission has studied the various documents containing the proposals of the Czecho- slovakian Government,
