Donald, Secretary of State for the Colonies, has paid a two-day visit to Palestine came as a complete surprise to the inhabitants of that country.
Mr. MacDonald arrived in Jerusalem on Saturday
morning and left yesterday afternoon.
He was unrecognised as he went on foot through
the old city of Jerusalem.
