Paris Finds New Ways With
Black
Lace
The lace vogue grows apace in Paris and London, and it is the pleasing task of resourceful dressmakers to find new ways of mak- ing lace smart-looking as well as, elegant.
In the distinctive summer evening gown by Helm, for example, black and white Chantilly insertion give a checked effect on organza. The smaller photograph shows a smart Luclle Paray and Jenny suit in white flamisol, the bolero jacket appliqued with fine black lace and worn with black lace blouse.
