Lord Runciman's Mission In
Czecho-Slovakia

The Czecho-Slovak problem formed the theme of leading articles in most of the Sunday papers. The Sunday "Times" describes Lord Runciman as a Missionary of Peace" and remarks that his principal task will consist in endeavouring to prevent a clash between the conflicting parties in Czecho-Slovakia.
According to the paper, destruction of the former Austro-Hungarian Empire was one of the greatest errors of the Peace Treaties, since a Federated Austro-Hungarian State would have been better able to withstand the pres- sure of the German Reich than any of the suc- cessor states have been capable of doing.

One of the members of the Sia- mese Military Mission, consisting of four of the higher officers of the Siamese Army and Navy has ar rived in Naples by the Japanese steamer "Fushima Maru.”
These officers, who are visiting Europe to study, European Military Organisations, will travel to Rome, to-day and from Rome, continue their journey to London-Tran Ocean.
