URGENT APPEAL FOR AID Lord Mayor's Fund Practically Exhausted

Large Sum Needed

For Safety Zone At Hankow

The British Ambassador's Committee administer- ing the Lord Mayor's Fund in Shanghai has cabled to the Mansion House, London, stating that Hankow is urgently asking for £20,000 with a view to the projected formation of a large refugee safety zone.
