Frank Woolley Honoured
Two interesting teams have been chosen for the Gentlemen and Players match at Lord's on July 18, 14, 15.
In the first place, recognition has been given to Woolley, who, in his 52nd year, is taking part in his last season in first-class cricket, by honouring him with the captaincy of the Players.
Walter Hammond led the Players last summer,, and now he leads the Gentlemen. This is surely without precedent.
The Australian players will be
Mrs. H. C. 'Hopman, Miss N. Wynne. Miss T. Coyne.
Miss D. Stevenson.
These players will be 'opposed by the following Scottish team:-
Mrs. W. M. Simmers.
Mrs. E. G. Macpherson-Grant. Mrs. A. Robertson.
Mrs. J. B. Fulton.
