United States Sweep The
Board
All five titles in the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championships were won by the United States of Amerien. Donald, Budge recorded his second triple win, while Mrs. Helen Wills-Moody once more de- feated her great rival, Miss Helen Jacobs, to secure the Women's Singles crown for the eighth-time and establish a new world record. Having already won the Men's Sin gles title, Budge won the Men's Doubles with Gene Mako, beating
Henner Henkel and von "Metaxa. and with Miss Alice Marble won the Mixed Doubles title beating H. Henkel and Mrs., Sarah Palfrey- Fabyan.
The Women's Doubles was won by Mrs. Fabyan and Miss Alice Marble.
