Craigengower were fully expected to beat Kowloon Bowling Green Club, but the magnitude of the score was wholly unexpected. Kowloon Cricket Club were given a trouncing by Craigengower, at the Valley, and are not proving nearly as strong as anticipated.

Although up on two rinks, Kowloon Bowling Green Club had much to thank Ernie Lines for, regarding the magnitude of their victory, as he overcame U.M. Omar by 20 shots and on the day's play was good value for the win. Guy re-appeared after an absence of two or three weeks and strengthened the rink, his, drawing to the jack being excellent. The whole rink played well and it is a tribute to Gomes to say that he just had the edge on Cheesman.
