Wedding Bells Are Ringing

By ELIZABETH MacRAE BOYKIN

When a young couple begin to make plans for kneeling in front of a minister, its time for aunties and friends to start looking for very particular presents.

ALL A-GLOW

Helen is the star bride in our own particular circle this June. And what a grand time we've had helping her plan the new house. She's not spending 1 fortune, though she does have an adequate amount to begin on. We're delight-} ed with the house, and what's more important, Helen is all a-glow. After all, she has to live there, so her pleasure is the proof of the pudding,

Witty Kitty

The fashion of the drindle has given us a taste for peasant. clothes. Designers this time went to Scandinavia for their inspir ation, and have presented us with tight bright bodices and full skirts all in the brilliant clear colours of Scandinavian “Little Mails" dressed for one of their Country Fairs,

The three frocks Illustrated are all suitable for plain or printed material. Have the little bodices made in a sharply contrasting co- lour such as royal blue on pink; turquoise blue, wine and white would also make a very good combination, and white and red or white and blue are as clear and clean as“ Scandinavian air.
