SHANGHAI CURFEW MAY COME OFF

It is learned that Police au- thorities of the International Settlement and French Settle- ment are considering the aboli- tion of the curfew which was imposed in August last year.

For the past several weeks, the police and other officials concerned have been favouring the abolition of curfew restric- tions as the city is slowly re- turning to normal and the scene of hostilities has shifted a long way from Shanghai. However, numerous recent assassinations of a political nature may pre- vent final decision at an early date.-Reuter.
