BELGIAN QUAKE FIRES

Brussels, To-day.

The earthquake which occurred in Belgium on Saturday is now known to have caused the death of at least three persons. A large number of people were injured..

At Ghent, two workers were hit by falling bricks. One was 80 seriously injured that he died shortly afterwards. In Cruyshatem, a building labourer was killed by a collapsing wall. In Mont. St. Amand, a panic-stricken inhabitant lost his life by running into a motorcar. Many houses in Kortryk were unroofed by the tremors and a man looking out of a window was hurled into the street and gravely injured.
