First Speedway Meeting For Seven Years
After a lapse of seven years the last meeting was held in June 1931---- speedway racing will again take place at the Marine Garden Speedway, Edin- burgh, this season.
The track re-opened on May 17, and after several weeks' intensive practice it is to be hoped that the Scottish rid~! ers will be able to extend the team of visitors, among whom is a strong Can- adian contingent, headed by George Pepper, Elwood Stilwell, Kid Curtis, Bob Sparks, and Bruce Venier.
Drew M'Queen will again lead the Scottish challenge, and he is support- ed by such promising riders as Stan- ley Gargan, Bill Nisbet, Clune John- stone, Dick Denny, and others.
