The two men left the China seas in June of 1932, and since then have sailed to Australia, crossed the Pacific, went around the Cape, sailed along the coasts of Africa until Tangier, from where they set out for Cannes.
Outside Toulon, the sailors were becalmed for about 36 hours with- out being able to traverse the last few miles. Finally, this morning a light breeze brought them into the harbour here, where they docked at 2 o'clock.
Upon coming ashore, the two men were welcomed by the Mayor of the city and by a large number of yachtsmen. On Monday, they will be guests of honour at a huge re- ception given them by the authori- ties.
