For the losers, Mr. and Mrs. Storey, winners of the Club Mixed Doubles Handicap event completed recently, were a trifle disappoint- ing. Both drove very well but were apt to break down under pres-
sure.
Jimmie Ferguson's display was a most polished one. All his strokes were almost perfectly executed and there is little doubt that had his partner settled down rather soonér than she did, this pair would have
won at least another set.
