Japanese Landing Party Establish Foothold
All Communication With Hong Kong Severed
Beyond the fact, now definitely established, that a Japanese naval landing party, in considerable strength, has succeeded in securing a foothold on Amoy Island, and were slowly driving to- wards the centre of the city, the situation at Amoy this morning was obscure.
