I will follow the instructions to proofread the OCR output of historical records relating to Hong Kong. I will correct spelling errors, fix spacing issues, rejoin broken sentences, restore paragraph breaks, indicate missing words, and format the text in Markdown. I will not add or remove any words, rephrase or rewrite the text, or translate it into another language. I will also ensure that file references are formatted correctly without any spacing inside parentheses. If page numbering is detected, I will keep it as is, with exactly six lines, three at the beginning and three at the end of a page. I will not leave any explanation wordings in the output. For texts from newspapers, I will reorder them to make sense, and for data in tables, I will reconstruct the table format. I will also reverse Chinese writing direction from right to left to left to right if necessary.
I'm ready to receive the OCR output for proofreading.
