APPROVES M. DALADIER'S ECONOMIC REFORM PLAN

Paris, To-day.

The French Cabinet yesterday approved the Gov-

ernment's economic reform plan. Immediately after the Cabinet Council, the Pre- mier, M. Edouard Daladier, made a statement concerning the principles inspiring the plan. Main idea underlying the new plan, he declared, was the necessity of increasing production, which was considerably lower in France in nearly all branches of industry than in most *other European countries.

CHIANG MEETS AMBASSADORS
