HOME FLEET FOR THE CLYDE

Units of the Home Fleet will visit the Clyde in connection with the Empire exhibition at Glasgow. The ships will be open to public inspection by day and illuminated at night and there will also be searchlight displays.
His Majesty's ships Nelson, Rod- ney, Royal Sovereign, the aircraft- carrier, Courageous, Wren, New- castle, Glasgow, Faulknor, with the 6th destroyer flotilla- and the submarines, Narwhal and Seahorse, will be present-British Wireless.
MILITARY ROADS CLOSED
The following roads now under con- struction by the Military Authorities will be closed from to-day until such time as they are fit for traffic-
(a) Road to Chung Am Kok from the point where it leaves the existing main road to Stanley.
(b) Road to Collinson Head from where it leaves the Shek-O Road.
(c) Clear Water Bay Road beyond the "matsted” near Sheung Yeung Village.
