JAPANESE
CABINET DIFFICULTIES
Tokyo, To-day.
The difficulties within the Japan- ese Cabinet that recently gave rise to rumours about the forthcoming resignation of the Prime Minister, Prince Konoye are apparently still
existent.
It had previously been declared 1 in political circles that the majority of the Cabinet were against Prince Konoye's resigna- tion, and equally so against any reconstruction of the Government.
Reports circulated by a Japanese news agency however, state that the Home Minister, Admiral Suet- sugu, representative of the Nation- alists and the Minister for Justice, Mr. Shino Shiono, urged the Prime Minister on Saturday to undertake mastery of the present difficult Cabinet "in order to obtain an early reconstruction of the situation arising through the China conflict."
