JAPANESE CLAIM CONTROL OF RADIO BROADCAST STATIONS IN SHANGHAI
Shanghai, To-day.
Radio stations in Shanghai owned and operated by foreigners or Chinese, have received notifica- tions from an organisation styling itself the "Broadcasting Superintendent's Office," with an address the same as that of the Japanese
censors.
The notification requests that all such stations re- gister and obtain permits from the organisa- tion before issuing any more broadcasts.
