Probably the most interesting match of the First Division League Football season will take place this afternoon, when South China "B", the present leaders and potential champions, encoun- ter the Middlesex Regt., at pre- sent lying second in the table, at Caroline Hill.

National Spirit has done nothing. particularly worthy of note so far in its racing career, but in this race it should prove itself slightly superior to the cthers, unless Emergency Call reveals ts true form, in which event it will probably win. There is, however, Shanghai 4, the Champion Macao Sub. to be reckoned with, and knowing its capability, it could also win. My choice as winner is National Spirit, with Shanghai 4 second, and Emer- genry Call third'
RACE NO.3: THE WUCHANG HANDICAP SIX FURLONGS. Confined to "D" Class China Ponies of the Hongkong Jockey Club, it should be most interesting to watch, with the result hard to decide, especial- ly as there will probably be eight conies competing. Although given top weight, it looks to me that Election Time, which will be ridden by Mr. D. P. A. Spreckley, should prove itself faster than the others
