Germany's Trade Expansionist Programme

A significant pronouncement upon German's trade expansionist policy in south-eastern Europe was made by the Reich economic representa- tive for Austria, Dr. Keppler, in a special inter-
view.
Referring to the article in the London "Times" in which it was asserted that Germany will now be in a position to isolate Czecho-Slovakia eco- nomically and dominate the Balkan market to the extent that she will be able to dictate her own trade agreements to the Danubian coun tries, Dr. Keppler said that this was a fallacy.
Events of the past two years had shown clearly that economic rela- tions between the Reich and south- eastern Europe have been quite nor mal and were based entirely upon the exchange of industrial articles for Agrarian products.
