two Clubs under review to-day are the Navy, champions of
Navy finished the season, three points ahead of Craigengower and their average runs per wicket works out at 17.73 against 11.37. Over 30 players represented them at various times during the season and consequently few have had sufficient innings to qualify for average lists.

LS. A. Fynn, tops the batting, followed by C. P. O. Hutley, while the latter also heads the bodiers, although Ldg. Wtr. Jeffery, who has not missed a match, has a total "bag" of 29 wickets.
Craigengower's average runs per wicket works out at 16.74 against 12.22.
W. Rapley has been the most successful batsman, having an average of 32.33 for an aggregate of nearly 300, while B. R. Iranee has been easily the most successful bowler.

I understand on reliable authority that Mr. C. Encarnacao, who went back to Shanghai shortly after the Annual Race Meeting, is expected to arrive here on the "Empress of Japan" to-morrow and will probably be taking care of Mr. En Tong Sen's ponies at Sa-- turday's 2nd Extra Race Meeting-
