"Career Girl" Diet

Expert Dietitians Work Out Food Programme For Stamina And Energy

There comes to our attention an excellent regimen christened the career. girl" diet.

The career girl is explained as "that new and fascinating combina- tion of feminine beauty and ma challenging brains,” which in our judgment, applies no less to the wo man in the home than to the gid out in the world competing for spot in the business and profession- al sun.

All women, we would presch, are career women, the home woman as mach a one, if not a more import- ant one in the long run than the kind usually associated with the career idea. So, in presenting the career girl diet, we present it for all wo-

work out a food programme that would provide career girls stamina and energy and, consequent- ly, inspire worth while activity. The career girl cannot go starvation or crank diets, our au- thorities remind us. She may have to eat in quick service restaurants and, therefore, cannot order specially prepared dietary foods. Neither can she spend too much money on meals.

So the diet finally approved to meet all needs and requirements turns out to be a fine maintenance diet, giving approximately 1,800 calories a day, all chosen from the average menus of inexpensive re- staurants. And here it is for all women to study and follow, if pos- sible. Anyway, stick to a plan not far afield from the diet outlined:
