Held In Tokyo
Cairo, To-day-The International Olympic Committee, which met here yesterday, decided to hold the next Olympic Games in Tokyo, in 1940.
They agreed to the later date as suggested by Japan because of the extreme heat at the end of August, and decided to hold the games be- tween September 21 and October 6.
The committee also decided that the Winter Olympics should be held at Sapporo, Japan, but that Skiing be eliminated in view of the differences in the International Ski Federation and the Olympic rules.— Reater:
