Never In British Service

London, To-day. SECRET EVIDENCE

Moscow, To-day. Yagoda, former Ogpu chief, gave secret evidence before the military tribunal of the Supreme Court yes- terday.

It is presumed that the evidence affects those foreign powers which were alleged to have aided the- Trotskyite counter-revolutionaries on whose behalf Yagoda had acted.

The court received a report by a commission of five medical experts who examined the evidence relat- ing to the deaths of Maxim Gorki," Manzhinsky, Kuibyshev and Pesh--

kov.

EXPERT FINDINGS

The experts found that the four accused doctors, who were alleged to have acted under Yagoda's -or- ders, criminally and maliciously maltreated the patients so as to bring about their death, alse that the health of Yezhov was consider- ably impaired by the sprinkling of poison on the floor of his office.

Traces of the poison were found on the furniture and in the air. Reuter.
