Australia should challenge for the Davis Cup. I cannot see why there should be any hesitation. It makes me smile to hear folk saying it is impossible to send a two-man team. In Adrian Quist and John Bromwich you have the two men.
In the United States there is never any worry whether a chal lenge will be made. I have always regarded a Davis Cup challenge from my country as something as set and regular as the seasons. It just comes round.
