Reverse or Left Turn

1. Step forward on the flat Left foot turning to the left. Count Slow, 2. beats.
3. Close the Left foot to the Right foot. Count Quick, 1 beat.
You have now turned half a turn and have your back to your Line of Dance. The last half
(4 steps, SQQS) is exactly the same as the last half of the previous Reverse Turn.
The Natural Pivot Turn
1. Step forward on the flat Right foot turning to the Right. Count Slow, 2 beats.
2Step to the side on the ball of the Left foot still turn- ing. Count Quick, 1 beat.
3. Close the Right foot to the Left foot on the ball of the foot, having turned half a turn and now being back to your Line of Dance. Count Quick, 1 beat.
Take a short step back on your Left foot. Get your weight well on to this step and soften knee a little. Now pivot round on that Left foot Count Slow, 2 beats.
and step forward with your Right foot along your Line of Dance. Count Slow, 2 beats.
Turn one complete turn on the 5 steps. This last step may now be used as the first step of the Quarter Turns, or of the Natural Turn. Otherwise you must now follow it with a step forward on your Left foot ing into a Reverse Turn.
