Two resolutions on the subject of China were pass- ed by the-council of the International Federa- tion of League of Nations Societies in the course of their three-day conference in Lon- don, at which delegates were present from fourteen countries.
The first resolution called on members of the League of Nations to declare their willingness to take all necessary measures, diplomatic, fin- ancial and economic, to stop Japanese aggres- sion, on condition that collective action was suf- ficient to render these measures effective and assured.
In the meantime, the resolu- tion urges members to give China all possible support în re- sisting aggression and to assist relief of the civil population by supplies of. food and medicine.
The second resolution urges extension of the boycott of Jap- anese goods. Reuter.
