Telephones (old) came to business at $25.90 and the new shares could be placed at $9. Hong Kong Lands had buyers at $322. Star Ferries were dealt in at $87 cum dividend. H.K. Wharves remained steady at $1171⁄2. Dairy Farms were enquired for at $25.10. H.K. Docks changed hands at $29.
Among the minor issues, Provi- dents (old) provided a notable fea- ture of the week, havinged hands in quantity from $2.45/2.70. closing in (Branches of the Mother demand at $2.65, the new shares. Church, The First Church of were dealt in from 50/70 cts. H.K.. Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Mass).
