SHANGHAI, TO-DAY.
A BELATED REPORT FROM HANGCHOW WHICH A JAP- ANESE SPOKESMAN ADMITTED TO BE PARTLY ACCURATE. REVEALS THAT A DARING MASS AIR-RAID ON MILITARY POSITIONS AND ESTABLISHMENTS IN HANGCHOW WAS CARRIED OUT BY OVER 30 CHINESE PLANES SHORTLY AFTER 4 A.M. YESTERDAY.
The Japanese spokesman here ad- mitted the incident but denied that damage of any importance was suf fered.
