HOSTILITIES COMING TO SOUTH CHINA NEXT

With the Japanese campaign in the Central China region concluding its first stage following the occupation of Nanking, foreign observers are of the opinion that the Japanese will hold off for at least two weeks before attempting to continue mili- tary operations.
It is believed that resumption of the campaign will involve either a drive on Hankow or prolonged hostilities in South China.
