JOINT DECLARATION ANTICIPATED DEFINING "LONDON-PARIS AXIS"

London, To-day.

That the Anglo-French talks in London may decide the course of European events for a long time, perhaps for years, and that in any case a great deal depends on their outcome, is the view express- ed by the "Daily Telegraph" in a leading article, bearing the heading "London-Paris Axis.

The paper emphasises that the British Govern- ment is not planning to change its foreign policy radically, and therefore is also not expecting the French Government to do anything of the sort.
