When Sir Malcolm Campbell recently broke the world's water speed record on Lake Maggiore at an average of 129.5 mph. he wore goggles actually made in Old Bond Street. The lenses were ground in the Meyrowitz workshop and when fitted allowed Sir Malcolm a range of vision of 180 degrees.
