In fact the London Zoo has several reptiles and insects discovered in bunches of bananas delivered at Covent Garden Market. This bird eating spider gave someone shock at Covent Garden. The fact that the mui tsai problem in Hong| Kong in general presented special difficulties, es- pecially in view of the present refugee question, was mentioned by Mr. Ormsby-Gore, Secretary for the Colonies, in the House of Commons yesterday.
Mr. Ormsby-Gore was replying to a question by Lieut-Commander R. T. H. Fletcher (Labour, Nuneaton), who wanted to know whether it was proposed to promote legislation for Hong Kong |and Malaya by which all transferred children must | be registered.
Mr. Ormsby-Gore said that the Straits Govern ment had decided to adopt in principle the Minority Report recommendations of the recent Mur Tsai Commission, and he hoped the Governments of the Malay States would reach a similar decision.
