THE Lawn Bowls League season has virtually concluded with the excep- tion of the annual match between Hong Kong and Kowloon for the Aitkenhead Shield, which will take place to-morrow on the Kowloon Bowling Green Club's greens, and the time is now ripe for my annual re-28 shots up against A. IN THE FIRST PLACE IT IS NECESSARY TO CONGRATULATE THE ASSOCIATION ON THEIR WISDOM IN RUNNING THREE DIVISIONS OF THE LEAGUE! THE SCHEME HAS BEEN A GREAT SUCCESS AND HAS NOT ONLY ENABLED MANY MORE PLAYERS TO TAKE PART IN THE GAME A SIGN OF THE GROWING POPULARITY OF OUR GAME HIGHEST BINK AGGREGATE: -BUT HAS ALSO RELIEVED WHAT WOULD HAVE BEEN AN UNPRECEDENTED CON-H. The various Open competitions]
have been well organised
and
have produced some good games SECOND AND for both players and spectators.
Here again the H.KL.BA de THIRD DIVISION serve praise for their idea of REVIEWS FOR playing several matches at one TO-MORROW Club in an evening! Spectators, especially in the earlier rounds, have been much more numerous than had the games been spread over four or five greens, making it impossible to see more than one match.
Those clubs which have gone to the trouble of making ade quate arrangements (and this does not apply to all of them)
Owing to pressure of space în to-day's issues, reviews by "Skip" of the second and third division of the lawn bowis-tea- gue have unavoidably been held over till to-morrow's editions.

Departing from generalities I will get down to my comments on the League, once again com- plimenting Club de Recreio оп their well-earned s success. Ad- mittedly their record is not quite as imposing as that of the
