The trial of Harry Richard Major 34 Revenue Officer, charged with accepting a bribe of $200 from a Chinese, Li Yee, on board the ss. Wo Ping Yee on June 23, commenced before the Chief Justice, Sir Atholl Mac- Gregor, at the Criminal Sessions this morning.
Mr. M. J. Abbott, Assistant Crown Solicitor, represented the Crown, while the accused was re- presented by the Hon. Mr. Leo D'Almada, junior.
